Six months on: what we have, and what we do not
Rev 4 of the corporate overview is published. It restates the fleet, the operating numbers and — more usefully — the things the company cannot yet claim.
Ameristar Oil was incorporated on 14 March 2026. Six months later the company operates eighteen drilling rigs, twelve support vessels and twelve Bell airframes across six districts, with 1,480 people on the books against nineteen at incorporation.
The revised overview also says plainly what is not true yet. The safety record is 172 days, which is a short record and not a proven one. ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are Stage 2 complete but not certified. API Spec Q2 is under assessment. Operating statistics in the document are internal management information and are unaudited.
A six-month-old contractor that presents itself as a mature one is telling its clients something it cannot support. We would rather publish the gaps.
